"Job Guidance" launched to address the trend toward earlier job hunting

At the Japan Hotel School, both the daytime and nighttime courses offer multiple career guidance sessions to prepare students for their job-hunting activities. The first session was held in the first week of September, with the aim of making students aware of the start of their job-hunting activities.
Hair and makeup classes for job hunting
The job-hunting guidance session for first-year daytime students aimed to help them understand the necessary grooming for job hunting and trends in the hotel and bridal industry, and to raise awareness of the start of their job-hunting activities. First-year nighttime students listened to the current state of job-hunting in the hotel and bridal industry and the job-hunting experiences of seniors, with the aim of using this information in their job-hunting activities.
▼Industry lecture
Participants were divided into hotel and bridal sectors and given explanations on topics such as the current state of the industry, the job hunting environment, and what they should do now.
▼Etiquette course on belongings and grooming (daytime class)
Under the theme of "What is personal grooming?", we invited a lecturer from AOKI Corporation to explain how to wear a suit during a job hunt and basic business etiquette.

▼Hair and makeup course for job hunting
The key is to look "clean" and "healthy." We invited a professional instructor to teach the basics of hair and makeup suitable for job hunting. Starting this year, we also provided male students with classes on hairstyles and skin care.
▼Lecture by senior students (night class)
Students will listen to the job-hunting experiences of second-year students in the evening school who have already received job offers. By dividing into groups and listening to actual experiences from companies that have offered them jobs (hotels and bridal), students will gain a deeper understanding of the topic and be able to use it in their job-hunting activities.
