Overseas study trip
Overseas study trip for all daytime students and optional for nighttime students

In the second year, in line with one of the educational philosophies of the Japan Hotel School, "developing individuals with an international perspective," all students in the daytime course go on an overseas study trip to learn about hotel and tourism conditions overseas and to experience different cultural spheres while enrolled. Participation is optional for students in the nighttime course.
Courses
The overseas study trip is held at the end of the second year with the aim of acquiring an international perspective and learning about the hotel industry overseas. This overseas study trip is participated in by all daytime students, and optional for nighttime students.

Paris (2024)

We carried out the "6 Days in Paris, France" project.
With memories of the previous year's Olympics still fresh in Paris, the entire city was used as the venue, so there was plenty to see.
In order to efficiently visit the numerous historical buildings and art museums that have earned Paris the nickname "Paris of Glamour" and "Paris of Art," we made sure to plan our itinerary carefully in advance.
Philippines (2019)

At the campus of the Perpetual Help System University, which is an affiliated school, the students watched a fashion show and traditional dances at the welcome reception, and participated in a Philippine-style mock wedding ceremony and a travel mart (presentation of Philippine tourist destinations). Both are annual events, but the fashion show also featured an attempt to have students from our school as models, and when the students appeared dressed in Philippine costumes, cheers rose up from the students of both schools.
Italy (2019)

I spent a meaningful time seeing World Heritage sites, experiencing Italian food culture, and interacting with the hotel staff. On the optional tour, I visited the Leaning Tower of Pisa, which is an hour and a half from Florence, and saw the mural of "The Last Supper" by Leonardo da Vinci, experiencing culture and enjoying art.
In the second half of the trip, we were able to take the subway as a group, go shopping, and walk around the city without any problems.
Costs
For daytime students, the salary earned from the three internships over two years will be saved towards an overseas training trip.
Participation in the evening classes is optional, so those who wish to participate must pay a separate "overseas training trip fee."
