I have 20 years' experience teaching and consulting on Hotel English, working in hotel services and general hospitality school exchange programmes.
Message to students
I try to base my classes on two criteria: 1) What I hope will be useful to students currently working, and upon graduating from JHS. 2) Inviting students to think beyond the standard type of service, and get into "hospitality-driven" mindset.
There are two standards for the classes. The first is that the lessons will be useful for current jobs (part-time jobs and internships) and jobs after graduation. The second is that they will lead students to a "hospitality-driven" way of thinking that goes beyond service.
Thoughts on the future of the hotel and bridal industries
Since the onset of COVID-19, the world will become more casual, and hopefully more health/safety conscious. Taking care of our guest's concerns and keeping them infantile will be a new kind of hospitality I feel.
Since COVID-19, the world has become more casual and health and safety conscious. We believe that being aware of what our customers are concerned about and putting them at ease will lead to a new form of hospitality.
Feel Free to Exceed---"Let's think freely and go out of our way"
Every encounter you step into, challenge yourself and feel free to exceed your guest's expectations. Take a risk, as long as it involves achieving a higher level of service.
