Going to Tokyo and learning about the vastness of the world

Daytime Bridal Department
Graduated from Fukushima Prefectural Fukushima Minami High School (Fukushima Prefecture)
"If I'm going to do it, I want to work in a first-class environment," was the thought that led me to enroll in the Japan Hotel School. I felt that the abundant practical training and connections with first-class hotels and bridal companies would help me achieve this goal.
The reason I decided to go to school in Tokyo is because I want to work using English, which I love, and I want to talk to foreigners. There are many foreigners in Tokyo. I use English to serve customers at part-time jobs, and when people ask me for directions, I answer in English. There are many opportunities to use English. Although my English is broken, I am very happy when I can communicate with them using gestures.
I have never once thought that I should not have gone to Tokyo. There have been many times when I thought that it was good that I went to Tokyo. By stepping foot in Tokyo, where people from all over the world gather, I realized how vast the world is. Tokyo, overflowing with people and things, is really fun. There are times when I miss my parents' home, but I study hard every day thinking about how someday I would like to invite my family to the place where I work and "give something back."
The final deciding factor for me to go to Japan Hotel School was participating in their "Summer School". I learned a lot from professional teachers, from classroom lessons to acquiring skills. And above all, I was greatly inspired by my peers who were aiming for the same industry and everyone around me who participated. I felt that if I went to this school, I would always be able to aim higher. I also participated in open campuses at other schools, but there was something about Hotel School that I didn't feel there.
