My Day (Bridal Department)
Fulfilling campus life

Let me tell you about my day
We follow the life of B, a second-year student in the bridal department! We follow her not only in class and campus life, but also in a day on a weekday and a weekend, including her part-time job and how she spends her time at home.

Night School 2nd Year

One Friday

Wake up at 6:30
When I was at home, my mother would wake me up, but now that I live in a student dormitory, I set a lot of alarms. I usually have a simple breakfast, but if I have time, I'll make it properly.
Unlike in high school, it can be tough to have to think about what to wear every day (except for suits on Tuesdays), but I've always loved makeup and fashion, so I enjoy getting ready every morning.
The dormitory is only about 4 minutes from the station and there are no transfers to get to school, so it's easy to get to school.

9:20- 1st period: Bridal hair and makeup
Today we have two consecutive classes on bridal hair and makeup, in the first and second periods.
It's a lot of fun because you can learn from a professional hairdresser, from the basics of beauty to specialized knowledge of bridal hair and makeup.
I learned how to do makeup that suits me, so I would like to apply that knowledge in my everyday life as well.

11:40~ 3rd period Communication Hour
The third period is "Communication Hour," which is similar to "homeroom."
It's almost time for the sports festival, so today we decided on the executive committee.
The sports festival includes competitions unique to Hotesuku, making it a hugely exciting event every year.
My class will also be performing a dance, so I hope we can all make some good memories together. Let's do our best!

12:40~ Lunch break
I always eat lunch with my friends.
Today we had a birthday child so we had a pizza party♪ The pizza place is right next to the school.

13:40- 4th period: Hotel English Conversation 2
The afternoon started with "Hotel English Conversation 2".
To be honest, I am not very good at English. When I first enrolled, I thought, "Why do I have to study English when I'm not in the hotel department but in the bridal department?" (laughs)
However, now I've become good friends with my teacher (who is a foreigner), and when we pass each other at school, I can casually say, "Bye-bye, Paul!"

14:50- 5th period: Basics of bridal SNS
A wedding is a once in a lifetime event. Brides and grooms searching for a venue for their special day are surely gathering a lot of information online.
I often look at the Instagram and TikTok accounts of my favorite celebrities and friends, but I wonder what kind of knowledge I need to actually post on social media from a business perspective... "The Basics of Bridal SNS" is where you can learn all that. It's difficult to think about it from a different perspective than usual, but it's interesting.

After school part-time job
Today's class ended at 5th period. I left school at 4:00pm and went straight to my part-time job!
On weekends, I work part-time as a banquet service staff at a wedding hall, but on weekdays, I work part-time at a yakiniku restaurant. It's a rather high-end restaurant, so I'm expected to provide a high level of customer service, and I often have to be careful. The customer service skills I learned during my training and part-time work at the wedding hall are useful.

22:45 Return home
On Fridays, many customers come for meals after work, so I worked a lot today.
I had dinner at my part-time job, so I had some time to relax by watching my favorite videos. Thank you for your hard work this week.
One day on a holiday

Wake up at 7:00
On my days off when I don't have a part-time job, I usually wake up around 10:00 and lie in bed for a while looking at my smartphone.
But today I went to Disney with my friends from Myoden Dormitory!
It's amazing how having something to look forward to wakes you up so quickly.

morning
It takes just over 20 minutes to get from Myoden to Maihama, so we depart at 8:00.
When I was living in my parents' home in Nagano, going to Disney as a family once a year was a big event.
At the time, it seemed like a dream to me that a "Land of Dreams" existed within a day trip distance.

afternoon
We enjoyed Disney from opening to closing.
I want to make lots of memories before I graduate.

22:30 Return home
I'd love to chat with my friends in the dorm lounge, but I have a part-time job at a wedding hall from Sunday morning.
I go to bed early and prepare for tomorrow.
