Bridal Coordination Skills Certification Level 3 (National Qualification)

The Bridal Coordination Skills Test is a national examination that certifies your ability to understand the knowledge, skills, and practical abilities required for bridal coordination, listen to customers' bridal needs, and propose the ideal plan.

Personal Colorist Certification

Formal Specialist Bronze License Certification

Hotel Business Proficiency Examination (H-ken)

The Hotel Business Proficiency Examination (H-Ken) is a qualification exam adopted by many hotels, and requires an understanding of the overall operations of a hotel. In the Hotel General Theory class, we also provide exam preparation and aim to obtain the qualification.

Universal Manners Test

The Universal Manners Test is designed to equip you with the ability to think about and act on the perspectives of the various types of people who visit hotels and bridal facilities, such as the elderly and people with disabilities, and what kind of problems they may encounter.

TOEIC

TOEIC is one of the common English proficiency tests in the world, and is often used by companies to assess the abilities of their employees, making it an advantageous test when looking for employment. Students at Japan Hotel School take the test in all subjects.

Tourism English Proficiency Test

The Tourism English Proficiency Test is an exam that certifies English proficiency in the technical terms used in industries such as travel, tourism, hotel and restaurant services, which often have opportunities to deal with visitors from overseas.

Japanese food test

The purpose of the Washoku Proficiency Test is to learn about washoku, a World Intangible Cultural Heritage, and to acquire the basic knowledge to correctly understand and convey Japanese food culture. It is a qualification test sponsored by the Ministry of Education, Culture, Sports, Science and Technology and the Japan Tourism Agency of the Ministry of Land, Infrastructure, Transport and Tourism.

Restaurant Service Skills Examination

The Restaurant Service Skills Examination is a national qualification that certifies knowledge and skills related to food and beverage service. It is a qualification for service personnel who serve Western cuisine to systematically study and improve their knowledge and skills.

Practical English Proficiency Test

The Test in Practical English Proficiency, commonly known as "Eiken," is divided into seven levels, from basic to business level. It measures the four skills essential for communication: reading, listening, writing, and speaking, and students aim to achieve Grade 2 or above, which indicates a high level of English proficiency.

Chinese Proficiency Test

The need for the Chinese Proficiency Test is also growing in the hotel industry to accommodate the roughly 40% of visitors to Japan from Chinese-speaking countries. At Japan Hotel School, a vocational school, we offer Chinese language classes in all courses in the daytime division and encourage students to obtain the Chinese Proficiency Test qualification.

New Customer Service Contest

The New Customer Service Contest is a role-playing contest in which participants must understand the needs of customers and propose the best wedding plan to brides and grooms visiting the facility for the first time within a limited time. Judges include people from the bridal industry, and participants will compete on the "communication skills" and "presentation skills" necessary for wedding planners.
