I am originally from Puglia, in the southeast of Italy. After studying translation and interpreting at the University of Salento in Lecce, I entered the Daito Bunka University Graduate School in 2011 as a government-sponsored student recommended by the Japanese Embassy in Italy, and in 2015 I enrolled in the doctoral program.

When he graduated from high school, he struggled with English and only scored around 200 on the TOEIC. However, while attending an English vocational school in Tokyo, he discovered the joy of learning English. He re-entered university, majored in English linguistics, and spent a year studying abroad in the United States. In his 20s, he worked in the IT industry at a foreign financial company.
