In the Hotel Department of the Japan Hotel School, students learn about each department of a hotel (accommodation, banquets, food and beverage, and management). They learn thoroughly in class and then practice in the hotel as trainees. In the second year, students also learn about management-related content, making this a curriculum that looks to the future.

Understanding Hotel Basics
As part of gaining an overall understanding of hotels, bridal businesses, etc., you will acquire basic knowledge about services.

You will gain an understanding of the business knowledge required for hotel management. You will also take preparation classes for the Hotel Business Proficiency Examination.
Accommodation Business Theory

This is a lecture-and-exercise class focusing on accommodation department tasks such as bellman and housekeeping. Through practical training, students will learn how to greet guests and make beds.
Menu Explanation

The menu is an important element in making an impression on a restaurant. Learn the basics of menus, their basic structure and format, and also the history of cuisines from around the world.
Deepen your understanding through practical training
In addition to learning the basics of service, practical training and hotel training will be included to deepen your understanding.

The first practical training after enrollment is the first step to learning about hotel work. You will learn the basics of the hotel and customer service while getting used to the practical training, learning the work, and practicing, which will definitely help you grow.
Learn hotel management and marketing
In addition to the basics of hotel management, you will also learn about the management department, which will give you the knowledge you need after three or five years of working in a hotel.

Summary of the past two years

Students will improve their problem-solving skills by conducting group research and presenting their proposals based on a theme. They will work in teams to create sales forecasts and profit and loss statements, and then present them as concrete proposals.
