Working in Japan

City Hotel

City Hotel

Many graduates of the Japan Hotel School work in world-famous hotels, such as top-class city hotels frequented by international VIPs and movie stars, large city hotels that host large weddings and banquets, and small luxury hotels that feel like hideaways.

Resort hotels

Resort hotels

Hotels located near large theme parks, on the seaside or on the plateau are used for family trips and recreational purposes. Many hotels have hotel staff who work together with the local community to provide hospitality, and new types of facilities, such as hotels that allow pets, are on the rise. Another attraction is the opportunity to experience the various pleasures that are unique to Japan.

Ryokan

Ryokan

Ryokans that offer a Japanese cultural experience have become especially popular with foreign guests in recent years. Japanese-style rooms are the norm, but an increasing number of ryokans are providing beds. Dining in the room and hot springs are also popular. Another attraction is the closeness to guests, with the staff serving meals, making and taking out futons, welcoming guests on arrival, and seeing them off on departure.

U-turn/I-turn employment

U-turn/I-turn employment

Japan Hotel School is a reliable choice for those who want to find employment in their hometown or in a region other than their hometown. Our school has a strong relationship of trust with the industry, and receives many job offers from hotels and inns from all over the country every year. Of course, we also provide support for finding employment in areas far from Tokyo.

Working abroad

Working abroad

The Japan Hotel School's overseas hotel internship program allows students to gain experience in a first-class hotel overseas after graduation. This program is advantageous for those who want to work in a hotel overseas or for those who wish to find employment in a foreign-affiliated hotel.

University Transfer

University Transfer

Students who graduate from the daytime division are awarded the title of "specialist." They become eligible to transfer to a university in their third year (sometimes in their second year) and can transfer to a university in Japan or overseas. The Japan Hotel School also has a system where students can transfer to affiliated universities in Europe, the US, Southeast Asia, and Australia after graduation. Students obtain a bachelor's degree after two (three) years of study.
